Clogged is consider a HP failure and even like that the standard HP done it better. the G9 dont impress me at all, for $2,35 per round you expect more. Buy a "Hornity" critical duty or critical defense for half of the price, law enforcement use it.

Best bullet design on the market bar none! In an extreme violence situation this bullet will get to the CNS (the intended target always) stopping the fight instantly! Hollow points expand putting the breaks on. They rely on exanguination to stop the threat, a much longer process enabling the bad guy to stay in the fight longer!

I could be wrong here but the extreme penetrator gave like 30” of penetration. You don’t want a defense bullet to over penetrate the target and hurt someone behind them.

Where can I buy Lehigh extreme defenders? I’m in Maryville Tennessee and cannot find a place that sells them. When I ask about Honey Badgers, Wilson Combat, Underwood or Lehigh bands of the Extreme Defender projectile the stores just look at me funny and say they don’t have them.

Problem with the xtreme defence is, you can't hit the broad side of a barn beyond ten yards. Remember, bullets spin. Those flutes counter the spin, creating a highly imbalanced projectile.

Moral of the story: Don't try to put down a perp clad in 3/4" plywood with JHPs. SMH

I love the 9mm +p 68 grain. The recoil is light, and you're getting close to 357 mag ftlbs 489 at the muzzle and 1800 fps look up the ballistic gel test, and it literally explodes

I bought them in 90 grain 9mm. Shot from multiple barrel lengths up to 5.5 inches. 10% ballistics gel, denim, 1x4 barriers, even bare gel. The permanent wound cavity was hardly the same diameter as the projectile. I’m always more than pleased with Lehigh performance but these were a let down.

I trust the defender even in the woods . 4 legs or 2 . I trust this 90 grain out of a 4.4 inch barrel will do the trick. When I'm hiking with the lady . Or solo . It is the back yard of cats , bears , coyotes, and other game. Standard pressure of that 90 up close is something to fear. Love Underwood/Lehigh

Ummmm ok.... using these for defensive situations is just begging for over penetration and the resulting lawsuit. 😂 and in addition, the whole purpose of hollow points is to slow down on impact and impart all of its energy reducing the risk of over penetration and increasing damage. These rounds are just dumb and shouldn't be be used for anything other than a fun range day
